  I just started to read it yesterday, for me it was like reliving something I had been through before. It amazes me how they villify the man but if you are at bethel and talk to those that were around during that time the stories jell together.

  The Watchtower Sells More of Its Buildings

  the society has put up for sale the buildings at 89 hicks and 67 livingston (aka sliver building).

  the market rate value has been estimated at $1.32-1.37 million for hicks and $3.45-3.65 for 67 livingston.

  it has also been noted that the society owns 20 residential buildings.

  in light of the following scriptures regarding jesus, how do judicial committees and their members composed of three elders even remotely follow jesus' teaching and example?.

  at dawn he went to the temple complex again, and all the people were coming to him.

  he sat down and began to teach them.. then the scribes and the pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, making her stand in the center.

  At a guess, they will view that scripture as part of the appocraphal text, that was added in later translations and therefore not pertinant to the situation at hand. just a guess.

  how do i contact someone?

  i wanted to know how to contact someone to come over and talk about the bible with me.

  i can't seem to find anything online as far as contacting anybody.. the reason i ask is that my dad has been talking to someone who just randomly stopped by our house a couple years ago and i have since moved to the other side of the country (i'm in washington now :( .

  ) he is definately alot happier than he has ever been and seems to really understand the bible now.

  when individuals leave the organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that god is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.

  when people leave another christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.

  when a christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.

  here is my biggest gripe. Luke wasn't introduced to the lightsabre till episode 4 by Obi Wan kenobie. how you gonna have anything to do with star wars without a lightsabre, same thing goes for the force,

  Disfellowshipped and lonely

  i was disfellowshipped in 2003. systematically my family stopped talking to me.

  i am only 22 years old and i feel a big void in my life.

  what can i do to feel better?

  Not meaning to sound cold, but the best thing for you to do is move on with your life. First get your money in order. If you are not already on the right track to financial security ( i.e going to college getting your career plans in order) start on that path. 2nd not saying that you can replace your family and former friends in the 'truth'. But what you can do is find new assosiates and work mates that can make the transition easier.
  
  now as jerry seinfield said there is a point in a mans ( or womans) life where they do not take interviews or applications for new friends. But what you can do is join various groups that share your same interest. For example, lets say you like to play cards like bid whist, black people love bid whist. What you can do is go online or look in your local paper and find the local bid whist clubs. Join one of these clubs and enjoy the association of fellow club members who like bid whist. Whatever your interest are there are those out there who share them and are looking to invite others to join them.
  
  Now this is key. Due to the JW programing you have recieved during your association with the Org, you may be thinking how can I join in association with the world. The answer is simple as with all things in life. You very carefully choose your associates. Just like when you were in the 'truth' you did not necesarily associate with those deemed 'week' the same holds true in your new endevor. You dont accept just anyone into your confidaence, you make sure they are truly 'real' genuine individuals.
  
  Good luck to you in your new life (for that is what it truly is) and enjoy the freash air of freedom.
